Frostie, a young goat with a severe case of joint navel ill, (a type of condition) faced a challenging start in life.

His two hind legs were crippled by this debilitating condition, leaving him struggling to move and thrive.

At Edgar’s Mission, a dedicated farm animal sanctuary in Australia, Frostie was given a fighting chance.

A Life-Changing Intervention

When Frostie arrived at Edgar’s Mission, he was immediately placed on a regimen of antibiotics and painkillers.

The goal was to alleviate his pain and combat the disease.

However, medication alone wasn’t enough.

Frostie needed to stay in motion to help flush out the toxins from his system and improve his chances of recovery.

This is where a special piece of equipment made all the difference.

The Gift of Mobility: Frostie’s Wheelchair

Frostie was fitted with a custom-made adjustable wheelchair.

This essential aid was previously used by Leon Trotsky, a little piglet at the sanctuary who had successfully recovered from a shattered femur.

The wheelchair had helped Leon Trotsky regain his mobility, and now it was Frostie’s turn to benefit from this life-changing device.

The adjustable feature of the wheelchair allowed it to be tailored to Frostie’s specific needs, providing the support he required to move around.
